GEORGIANA & BOGDAN

DESTINATION WEDDING

ROYAL HOTEL SANREMO | SANREMO | ITALY

I photographed Georgiana and Bogdan’s destination wedding in Italy, and it was everything I love about intimate celebrations: a small guest list, real emotion, and a day that felt unhurried and deeply personal. Their civil ceremony took place in Santo Stefano del Mare, followed by a reception in Sanremo at the five-star Royal Hotel Sanremo, all on a beautiful, sunny June day with that warm Italian light that makes everything look and feel cinematic.

Santo Stefano del Mare is the kind of place you dream about when you picture an Italian Riviera destination wedding, a truly picturesque Italian town, full of coastal charm and timeless corners that photograph beautifully. Georgiana and Bogdan kept the ceremony very intimate, with only their closest friends and family, which made every moment feel more meaningful and more real.

After the civil ceremony, I took them on a relaxed walk through Santo Stefano del Mare for portraits. I love doing couple photos this way, no stiff posing, just gentle direction while you enjoy the town, take each other in, and let the moments happen naturally. It’s one of the best ways to create authentic destination wedding photography in Italy that actually feels like your day.

From there, we headed to Sanremo, and the contrast was perfect. Sanremo looked stunning, scenic, elegant, and full of that refined Riviera atmosphere. Their reception at Royal Hotel Sanremo was next-level: a truly luxurious five-star hotel with an elevated feel in every detail. It’s an incredible setting for a Sanremo destination wedding, especially if you want something intimate but beautifully polished.

We also did a couple photoshoot at the Royal Hotel, using the venue’s elegant spaces and surroundings to create portraits that feel timeless: clean, romantic, and classic, with the kind of luxury backdrop that never goes out of style.

Alongside photography, I also captured video throughout the day and created a short destination wedding highlight film for them. I love being able to deliver both, because photos freeze the key moments, while film brings back the movement, the atmosphere, and the emotion, so you can relive what it felt like to be there, in Italy, with your closest people.

Enjoy!
