Not every portrait needs to happen on the wedding day itself. A pre-wedding or post-wedding shoot gives you time to breathe — no schedule to keep, no guests waiting, just the two of you and the city’s most beautiful backdrops.
We are Florian Weddings, a husband and wife photography team based in London with over 13 years of experience. Pre- and post-wedding sessions are one of our favourite ways to work — relaxed, unhurried, and entirely about you.
Why Book a Pre or Post-Wedding Shoot
A dedicated session before or after the wedding means more time for portraits, more outfit options, and none of the time pressure of a packed wedding day schedule. It’s a favourite choice for couples who want striking editorial images against a backdrop the wedding venue doesn’t offer — and for couples marrying abroad or eloping who still want a London-set portrait session with family and friends able to attend.
Sessions typically run two to three hours, timed around golden hour for the best light, with two or three locations woven into a single relaxed walk across the city.

How the Day Works
We start with a short call to talk through the look you’re after — classic London landmarks, quieter residential streets, or a mix of both. We plan the route and timing around golden hour, factoring in each location’s crowds and light.
On the day, we move at a relaxed pace between two or three locations, giving you time to settle in front of the camera rather than rushing from spot to spot. Full edited galleries are delivered within two to three weeks.
Pricing
Pre- and post-wedding sessions start from £450 for a 2-hour shoot at up to two locations, including 30+ edited images. Longer sessions and additional locations are available on request.
