OXFORD ENGAGEMENT PHOTOSHOOT

Jaya and Arun chose Oxford for their engagement photoshoot—classic architecture, quiet lanes, and that timeless Oxford feel, even on a cold, windy day. I’m Florian Weddings, a London-based wedding photographer, and this session was the first of many events I’ll be photographing for them.

We kept it simple and natural, letting their connection lead while we explored Oxford’s historic backdrops. The wind made its presence known, but it added energy to the frames—movement, texture, and that real, in-the-moment atmosphere.

After the photoshoot, we stopped for lunch—an easy way to warm up and a great opportunity to properly get to know each other. That time together makes a difference, especially when this is the first chapter of a longer story. The more comfortable you feel with your photographer, the more effortless your images will look and feel across every event that follows.
