We'd braced for rain all week, but Amritpal and Harveer were met with a beautiful sunny morning in May at Chelsea Old Town Hall. I'm Florian, a London wedding photographer, and this was the kind of civil wedding I love intimate, sunlit and full of feeling.
The bride and groom looked incredible, and their ceremony was deeply emotional, especially the personal vows they'd written for each other. Afterwards came a joyful confetti exit on the steps, with the whole of Chelsea already in bloom the day before the Chelsea Flower Show.
Once the family photos were done, we wandered the streets of Chelsea and finished the day beside the Thames at Victoria Bridge — the perfect close to a day the sky hadn't promised.
